Once you’ve navigated the Hollowed Vault, you’ll reach the final threshold: the passage to the Heart of Corruption. This transition is marked by a massive door covered in ancient runes, glowing faintly with dark energy. However, before you can proceed, you’ll need to defeat a mini-boss or overcome a final set of puzzle traps.
Mini-Boss Encounter: A Corrupted Guardian, a powerful sentinel, will block the path. This enemy is similar to the Hallowed Sentinels but is much stronger. It can summon additional spectral minions and create barriers of dark energy that reduce your ability to heal. Focus on interrupting its summoning and use crowd control to deal with the minions quickly.
Puzzle: If you’re unlucky enough to face a puzzle, it will require you to activate runes in a specific order based on clues hidden within the vault’s decor. Keep an eye out for glowing symbols or ancient inscriptions that may hint at the correct sequence.
