Basic Mechanics: How Blizzard Works
At its core, Blizzard calls down a storm of ice over a targeted area, dealing Frost damage over time to any enemies within the radius. The cold effect not only damages enemies but also has the potential to freeze them, making them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
Area of Effect (AoE) Damage: The Blizzard storm covers a large area, making it perfect for crowd control and dealing with groups of enemies. Enemies within the area of effect take damage over a period of time, and the longer they remain in the storm, the more they’re affected by the freeze mechanic.
Freeze Mechanic: Enemies caught in the Blizzard will be slowed and, if they stay long enough in the storm, will eventually be frozen in place. This gives you valuable time to finish them off or apply other abilities that deal massive damage to incapacitated enemies.
