Diablo 4 Season 10's Most Likely Meta Contenders
1. Sorcerer
The Sorcerer dominated in Season 9 and shows no signs of slowing down. Even though the Hydra Sorcerer build suffered a nerf with Diablo 4 Items the weakening of the Serpentine Aspect, several other builds are ready to take its place.
The standout factor this season is the introduction of the Galvanic Azurite Unique Ring, which supercharges Lightning Skills. Combined with buffs to Charged Bolts and Overflowing Energy, the Sorcerer's Chain Lightning and Crackling Energy builds are shaping up to be the strongest options. These builds already offered a solid mix of clear speed and boss damage, but with Season 10's itemization, Sorcerers can maximize both damage output and survivability in new ways.
Simply put, the Sorcerer looks poised to continue as a top-tier class, cementing its place at the very heart of the Season 10 meta.
2. Spiritborn
Introduced in Season 9, the Spiritborn wasted no time establishing itself as one of Diablo 4's most dominant classes. Season 10 seems to continue this momentum, largely thanks to the interaction between Chaos Armor and the class's powerful pool of Uniques.
With Chaos Armor, Spiritborn players no longer have to choose between equipping a defining Unique like Loyalty's Mantle and a Mythic such as the Heir of Perdition. Instead, they can double up on high-value items, unlocking unprecedented synergy.
Although the new Hesha e Kesungi Unique Gloves don't dramatically shift the meta, the Spiritborn's existing toolkit was already powerful enough to thrive. Even weaker Mythics, such as Nesekem, the Herald, might find a niche role this season, given the flexibility of Chaos Armor. All of these positions Spiritborn as another likely S-tier meta contender.
3. Druid
The Druid has often fluctuated between mid-tier and top-tier status in Diablo 4, but Season 10 appears to mark a major upswing. The addition of the Kilt of Blackwing Unique unlocks new potential for Companion builds, especially when paired with Storm's Companion and other Unique Pants via Chaos Armor.
Even with a nerf to Grizzly Rage in the PTR, the Druid looks stronger than ever. Companion builds, which previously struggled in high-end content, now have the tools to compete thanks to this synergy. Given how resilient and cheap D4 materials flexible Druids already are, Season 10 could finally see them elevated into a consistent meta threat.
